Hi, everyone. Welcome to Inspire Virtual Runs Podcast. This is Episode 14. I hope you enjoyed the time with your families, whether it was live or through zoom, and I’m sure you’re eager to see what 2021 has in store. I didn’t plan on having an episode during the holiday. But there was something that I wanted to share during this time. I was asked a few times if I thought 2021 is going to be better than 2020. This is a tough question because we’ve experienced an event unlike any other in our lifetime. Related to that, I would expect that we would see things get a little better in 2021. Having said that, I think there will be ups and downs like in any other year. And like always, a year being quote unquote good or bad will really depend on you, and how you deal with what comes your way. Now, this is not discounting the personal loss that many of us have faced this year with family members or friends. Our family and friends should be cherished and remembered as we enter this new year and beyond. What this message is about is that there are many positive aspects of our lives that are being overshadowed by the pandemic. If we acknowledge these aspects, we should in turn have a different outlook on the year and life.
So yes, I think it’s going to be a great year for you. If you yourself believe it. If you are intentional about your decisions, and how you spend your time on activities that are most important to you want to close this message with something that I read on Instagram, by a gentleman by the name of David Dang, it was inspiring to me. And I would like to share that inspiration with all of you. It reads. If you want 2021 to be your year, then don’t sit on the couch and wait for it. Get out of your comfort zone. make a change. smile more. Be excited. do new things. Develop a passion for learning. Throw away which you’ve been cluttering. unfollowing negative people on social media. Follow positive people on social media. Be fierce. Don’t gossip, do things that challenge you. Be brave, and most importantly, be grateful for everything that you have. I hope that you found that quote, inspirational as I did, and I’ll link to it in the show notes. I’m really looking forward to 2021 and helping inspire you this year. Stay tuned as we come back to our regular schedule this week and have more inspiring guests that will share their stories to help you in your fitness journey. With that, thanks for listening, and have a great day.
